Communicating Sustainability

In 1951, post-war Britain celebrated its designers and makers at the wondrous Festival of Britain, a government sponsored campaign to renew and revive our country. They invested in talent and big ideas. A new way of living emerged, and with it came a new prosperity.

I'm a marketing professional, promoting sustainable business and culture. I specialise in events management and online networking.

I've spent over 25 years in marketing and culture, working in subsided theatre, dance and literature, and the Edinburgh festival. During the 1990s, I promoted a brand new telecommunications service called the internet. More recently, I've worked in retail and exhibitions.

Taking time off to raise three daughters gave me the opportunity to create and build my own business. Frugal Cool promotes sustainability through creative collaborations.
